Candidates must fulfill the following age limit criteria as of 01 January 2026:

Follow these step-by-step instructions to apply online for MP ESB Naib Tehsildar Recruitment 2026:
- Visit the official MP Online Portal (mponline.gov.in) or MP ESB Portal (esb.mp.gov.in).
- Navigate to 'Citizen Services' -> 'Application' -> 'ESB' and locate the link for 'Naib Tehsildar Departmental Limited Competitive Examination 2026'.
- Complete candidate profiling/registration using your Aadhaar number and Employee Code.

The selection process consists of an Online Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification. The CBT consists of two objective-type papers of 100 marks each (Total 200 Marks):
- Paper 1 (100 Marks, 2 Hours): General Logical Ability, General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Science, and General Computer Knowledge.
- Paper 2 (100 Marks, 2 Hours): Knowledge of Government Service Rules (30 Marks), Knowledge of Revenue Vocabulary (20 Marks), and Knowledge of Acts/Rules including MP Land Revenue Code 1959, Revenue Book Circular (RBC), & Land Records Manual (50 Marks).
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 55% for Unreserved/OBC/EWS candidates, and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Candidates selected for the post of Naib Tehsildar will be placed in Pay Matrix Level 9 under the MP Pay Revision Rules 2017 with an initial basic pay of ₹36,200 (Pay Scale ₹36,200 - ₹1,14,800 + Dearness Allowance and admissible state government allowances). Under the 6th Pay Commission structure, this corresponds to Pay Band ₹9,300 - ₹34,800 + Grade Pay ₹3,600.
