Candidates seeking admission to Class 11th Intermediate course must meet the standard age eligibility rules defined by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) following Matriculation passing guidelines.
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has re-opened the Spot Admission process for Class 11th Intermediate admission for the 2026–2028 academic session via the Online Facilitation System for Students (OFSS) portal. This re-opening offers a vital opportunity for candidates who could not secure admission in previous merit rounds or missed earlier registration windows. Students can apply for available vacant seats in Science, Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, and Vocational streams across affiliated institutions in Bihar.
Admission is offered across various streams in government and recognized senior secondary schools and colleges across all 38 districts of Bihar:
| Course Name | Streams Offered | Total Seats |
|---|---|---|
| Intermediate (Class 11th) Admission 2026-28 | Science, Arts, Commerce, Agriculture, Vocational | As per Vacant Seats in Schools/Colleges |
| Course Name | Educational Qualification |
|---|---|
| Intermediate (11th Class) | Passed Class 10th (Matriculation) or equivalent examination from BSEB, CBSE, ICSE, or any recognized State/National Education Board in India. |
Follow these simple steps to complete your OFSS Bihar 11th Re-Open Spot Admission process:
- Visit the official portal at https://ofssbihar.net
- Click on the link 'Spot Admission 2026' or 'Intermediate Spot Admission'.
- Log in using your Application Reference Number / Registration Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.
- Check the available vacant seats in your preferred schools or colleges and select your desired stream (Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture).
- Download and print the Spot Admission Intimation Letter / Application form.
- Report directly to the respective college/school with all original documents, photographs, and requisite fees for document verification and final admission confirmation.
Students who were selected in earlier merit lists and opted for the Slide-Up process, but failed to secure final admission in the new institution, must note that their previous admission stands automatically cancelled. Such candidates must apply fresh under Spot Admission to secure a seat.
Spot admission is granted on a availability and merit basis across institutions. Headmasters and Principals of respective colleges will display stream-wise vacant seat details on notice boards and update final admitted candidates on the official OFSS Portal.
