Candidates must meet the following age requirements as of 01.01.2026 (born not earlier than 02.01.1994 and not later than 01.01.2008):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 32 Years
Upper age relaxation is permissible as per rules: SC/ST - 5 years, OBC-NCL - 3 years, PwBD (General/EWS) - 10 years, PwBD (OBC) - 13 years, PwBD (SC/ST) - 15 years, and Ex-Servicemen - 3 years after military service deduction. Regular employees of Delhi High Court have no upper age limit.

The recruitment for SPA and PA involves a four-stage comprehensive evaluation process: Stage-I (English Typing Test - Qualifying nature at 40 w.p.m. with max 3% mistakes allowed); Stage-II (English Shorthand Dictation & Transcription Test - 110 w.p.m. for SPA / 100 w.p.m. for PA with max 5% permissible mistakes); Stage-III (Main Descriptive Examination of 100 Marks consisting of Essay, Letter Writing, Grammar & Comprehension, and Hindi/English Translation); Stage-IV (Interview of 15 Marks). Final selection list will be prepared based on total marks obtained in Stage-II, Stage-III, and Stage-IV.
The posts carry high prestige and attractive remuneration under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). Senior Personal Assistant (SPA) is categorized as Group 'B' under Level 8 of the Pay Matrix. Personal Assistant (PA) is categorized as Group 'B' under Level 7 of the Pay Matrix.
