Candidates must meet the following age criteria as of 01.08.2026:
- Scale I Officers: Minimum 21 Years - Maximum 30 Years
- Scale II Managers: Minimum 25 Years - Maximum 35 Years (Variation for Info Security: Max 32 Years, CISA/CISM: Min 27 Years)
- Scale III Senior Managers: Minimum 28 Years - Maximum 37 Years (CISA/CISM: Max 40 Years)
- Scale IV Chief Managers: Minimum 28 Years - Maximum 40 Years (Info Security & CISA/CISM: Max 42 Years)
Upper age relaxation is applicable as per rules: SC/ST - 5 Years, OBC (NCL) - 3 Years, PwBD - 10 Years, Ex-Servicemen - 5 Years.
Bank of India (BOI), a premier public sector bank headquartered in Mumbai, has initiated a major recruitment drive for Specialist Officers across Scale I to Scale IV. - Click on 'Click here for New Registration' and enter your basic details including Name, Contact Number, and Email ID.
- Note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password sent via SMS and Email.
- Fill out personal details, educational qualifications, and professional work experience accurately.
- Upload scanned copies of your Photograph (20-50 kb), Signature (10-20 kb), Left Thumb Impression (20-50 kb), and Handwritten Declaration.
- Pay the application fee online using Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI and submit the form.
- Download and print a copy of the submitted application form and fee receipt for future reference.
The selection process comprises two main stages: Online Examination and Personal Interview. However, the Bank reserves the right to conduct direct personal interviews if candidate volume permits.
- Online Examination: English Language (25 Marks, Qualifying Nature) + Professional Knowledge Test (100 Marks) for a composite duration of 100 minutes.
- Negative Marking: 1/4th (0.25) marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
- Personal Interview: 100 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for General/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on Online Exam (Professional Knowledge) and Interview scores in the weightage ratio of 60:40.
Selected candidates will receive basic pay along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and other perquisites as per Bank rules:
- JMGS-I (Scale I): ₹48,480 – ₹85,920
- MMGS-II (Scale II): ₹64,820 – ₹93,960
- MMGS-III (Scale III): ₹85,920 – ₹1,05,280
- SMGS-IV (Scale IV): ₹1,02,300 – ₹1,20,940
